RAC project is implementing by POPI from July 2014 at 8 village of Amtoil and Noril Union of Haluaghat Upazila under Mymensingh District. This project has covered the 600 hundred poor and extreme poor vulnerable families in that were. Main objective of this project is, by the June 2016, 600 poor and marginalized families of Mymensingh Districts of Bangladesh have Improving food utilization through training and discussions on nutritional requirements, safe drinking water, improve hygiene, sanitation and health improved.

 

Project Goal

Flood disaster risk free living and livelihood ensured for targeted 650 beneficiary households and estimated 11500 community people in the project location.

 

Project Objectives:

1. To raise and strength household level plinth and courtyard of targeted 350 households above flood level.

2. To facilitate and strengthen flood resilient sanitary latrine and tube-well for safe drinking water to targeted beneficiaries.

3. To facilitate and strengthen flood resilient goat/sheep/duck/poultry shed for targeted beneficiaries.

4. To facilitate and strengthen flood shelter with Watsan and flood resilient targeted community people.
