Goal of the project:

Improved gender equitable food security, nutrition and resilience of vulnerable 27862 poor and extreme HHs comprise of 106632 populations living in Haor regions in Bangladesh by 2020.

 

Purposes of the project/results:

1. Increased equitable access to income and nutritious food for both males and females
2. Improved nutritional status of children under five years of age, pregnant and lactating women and adolescent girls
3. Strengthened gender equitable ability of people, households, communities and systems to mitigate, adapt to and recover from man-made and natural shocks
4. (Cross-Cutting) Increased Women’s Empowerment and Gender Equity
5. (cross-cutting) Increased agency of PEP to negotiate increased responsiveness and quality of public services
